Lady Generals end week strong with huge win
The Newton County Academy Lady Generals won two of three contests last week, finishing the week with big win over Laurel Christian and Nanih Waiya after a 50-25 loss to Lamar School to start the week.
“We are still looking for a little more consistency, from game to game and within the game,” NCA coach Michael Alexander said. “We will play well in spurts and then have droughts that you have to avoid. We just need to be more consistent. We just want to be laying our best game by the time we get to our district.”
NCA will travel to Meridian on Tuesday to play at Lamar School before hosting Laurel Christian on Thursday and Brookhaven Academy on Friday.
