Funeral services for Larry Wheaton were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1 at Morning Star MB Church. Visitation was from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 30.

Sidney Simmons

Sidney Albert Simmons, 62, of Olive Branch died Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He was born Saturday, Aug. 28, 1954, in Newton.

David Duncan

Memorial services for David Duncan will be held at a later date.
Mr. Duncan, 61, of Preston, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and the past president of ABATE. He was also responsible for having May be named as Motorcycle Awareness Month in the state of Mississippi.

Gerald Alawine

Services for Gerald Maxwell Alawine were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 at Antioch Baptist Church in Neshoba County with Revs. Jack Kern and David Jay officiating. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery.
McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.  

Henry Langley Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Henry Grady Langley Jr. will be held in Starkville at Montgomery Gardens at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 22. Another service will be held later in Union for those that are unable to travel to Starkville.

Services for Mr. Charles S. “Charlie” Brown of Sebastopol were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol with burial in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. 
The Rev. Howell Thrash officiated. 

James Tune

James Thelon Tune, 92, of Lawrence, died peacefully Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at his home in Lawrence. He was born Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1924, in Holly Grove, Ala.  

Sue L. Addy

Services for Mrs. Sue L. Addy were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17 at First Baptist Church of Union with the Rev. David Addy, Dr. Jon Martin, and the Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Burial followed at Union City Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home of Union was in charge of arrangements.
