Rigdon, Tingle exchange vows

Miss Abbey Elizabeth Rigdon and Tyler Alston Tingle were married on June 10 at Lazy Acres Plantation, Chunky. The Rev. Michael Wells officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rigdon of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gertrude McKinion, the late Lamar McKinion, Mr. Rayburn Rigdon and the late Joan Rigdon.

​​The groom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Michael Wells and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Tingle, of Philadelphia. He is the grandson of the late Kevin and Jean Barker, Mrs. Lois Tingle and the late Jimmy Tingle, and the late Mac and Sarah Wells.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an all over Venice lace and tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline. The back was adorned with dainty buttons over illusion tulle to the bottom of the chapel length train.

 Maid of honor was Anna Rigdon, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Marla Wells, Tori Bruno, Kasie Truhett and Taylor Harrison.  McKenna Baldwin was flower girl.

Best man was Jeremy Butler, friend of the groom.  Groomsmen were Trevor Wells, Eric Jones, Cody Stepp, and Zach Butler.  Ushers were Brandon Anderson, Scott Lowry, and Clay Drury.

Ring bearer was Cooper Tingle.

The bride and her father arrived at the ceremony in a 37 Special 1940 Buick driven by Danny Allbrook.

Musicians were Rayben Lee and Hunter Dickerson.  Soloist was Marla Wells.

The reception followed in the Plantation Hall at Lazy Acres. The reception was catered by Chef Barry Kharr and decorated by Carolyn Truhett and Michele Rigdon.  

The wedding was directed by Lesia Bruno.

The groom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Antioch Baptist Church.

The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg,
