I heard from Faye Phillips of Faye’s Hair Corner in Union. She is making remarkable progress after the surgery she had on her hand for carpal tunnel syndrome. She plans to reopen the shop on June 13. Great news, Faye!
Pastor Clif Crosby II of Union Pentecostal Church, located on Old Hwy. 15/CR 321/North Street, announces the church will have a youth rally on Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be Brother Ethan Wade.
Faye Phillips will be having surgery on her hand on May 29. She will keep her shop, Faye’s Hair Corner, open until Saturday, May 26, and then will reopen after she has recuperated from surgery. She wants all to understand that she will reopen. She thanks all for your support and understanding.
I hope the week is finding you all well and the rest of it will be blessed. I have done everything I know to do to restore the voice mail to my digital home phone to no avail. I think the next step will have to be replacing these old handsets. Meanwhile, continue to use the same number to leave voice mail that is used for texting.
I will be having the Writers Guild meeting at my home one more time, next Saturday, May 5. I spoke with Jim Ogletree at Piggly Wiggly, who has agreed to allow us to meet at the Opry House once a month, or how ever often the group votes to meet, monthly, alternate months or quarterly.
