Benny J. "Bo" Brown

Services for Benny J. "Bo" Brown will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12 at McClain-Hays Chapel with the Rev. Mark Vincent officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Monday at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown, 85, of Decatur, died on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson.

He was a native of Conehatta, and lived in Decatur for most of his life. He was owner/operator of Benny Brown Electrical Service. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Brown was a member of Clark-Venable Baptist Church of Decatur.

Survivors include his wife, Blonzell Ladd Brown of Decatur; a son, Steve (Laura) Brown of Louisville;

A grandson, Taylor (Jennifer) Mills; three great-granddaughters, Morgan, Peyton and Lauren Mills;

and two sisters, Jackie Gibbs of Morton and Lola Kelly of Lake.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Brown Nation; and two brothers,

James Brown and William "Bud" Brown.

Pallbearers will be George Hays, Tommy Keith, Buck McDonald, Taylor Mills, Bill Brown, Graham Clark,

Marty Ladd, Austin Bowen and Keith Fulton.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Clark-Venable Baptist Church of Decatur.
