I will be the first to admit that I am a long-time fan of the horror and mystery author Stephen King. I think that my fascination for his books is because my mother forbad me to read them when I was younger (looking back, that was probably a good call on her part).

As chapter head for the Newton-Neshoba Chapter, I was invited to attend the state board meeting for Mississippi Writers Guild. It was held at the Anjou Restaurant in the Township at Ridgeland.
Several people had recommended I interview Mr. Jason Michael Roberson, principal of Newton County Elementary School, so it was an easy decision to do so.
I had a unique experience recently. I was asked if I would like to interview the star of an upcoming installment in a series of horror-comedy films, to be released May 1. The actor also portrayed the father in one of the most popular television sitcoms of the 1980s.
